On August 24th an opening of an exhibition of Thomas. J. Styczynski's photographs took place in Krynica's Galeria Biura Wystaw Artystycznych.
Entitled "Niezwykly majestat przyrody - Krajobrazy Ameryki" (Nature's incredible majesty - America's landscapes), the exhibition presents almost 40 photographs of Canyonlands National Park, Utah's Monument Valley, Yosemite Valley and Sierra Nevada Mountains, among other landmarks from across the North American continent.
"One could almost say that looking at some of Styczynski's photograph's we see God's creation in its pure form while the camera lens is merely an unfelt way of enabling this contact" - said Krzysztof W. Kasprzyk, Poland Consul General in Los Angeles in his introduction to the exhibition's catalogue.
Before the opening in Krynica, the exhibition was open in Krakow on July 5th-30th. It will be open in Krynica until September 9th and then moved to Katowice (September 13th - October 11th) and Rzeszow (October 16th - November 12th).
The exhibition is organized by: U.S. Consulate General in Krakow Polish Consulate General in Los Angeles in co-operation with: Galeria Stowarzyszenia "Wspolnota Polska" in Krakow Galeria Biura Wystaw Artystycznych in Krynica Galeria Klubu Niezaleznych Stowarzyszen Tworczych "Marcholt" in Katowice Galeria "Pod Ratuszem" in Rzeszow
