Six members of the U.S. Congress accompanied by their spouses, staff and military escort visited Krakow on August 7th-9th. The delegation included:
Among other activities the delegation met with Malopolska Province governor, Jerzy Adamik. The discussion focused on environmental protection, water resources, international transportation and civil aviation. Members of Congress met also with John Lynch, president of the American Chamber of Commerce of southern Poland. Major Ernie Edgar of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers gave the delegation a briefing on Corp's activities in its Europe District. |
